Building lean muscle mass quickly without fat?

Is the best way to gain lean muscle quickly to use PD while eating lots of whole food like how it's recommended in the 10 habits? Is there any other tips you could give in case I missed something?
I'm interested in gaining muscle mass while gaining as little fat as possible. Right now I'm 160lbs at 5'10" and would love to get up to 180-190lbs eventually.
