Blast Body Fat to Reveal Your Six Pack NEW
by: Paul from Isometric Training

Hi Sean,

Stephen is dead right that your isometrics will chisel and build you abs - however he is also crucially accurate in stating that diet plays a vital role in achieving this.

To get shredded abs is a 2 part process.

Part one is building sufficient muscle tissue to present the abs with good contrast. The fastest way to do this is using the 7 second stomach flattener I teach in the Perfect Body course (www.strong-in-7-seconds.com)

Part 2 is in removing body fat to show the muscle that you've built. You can build big muscles but if they are kept under a layer of fat no one will see them. Stephen is also correct in saying that you need to be below 10% body fat to see your abs in men, though 7% is even better.

I've an article you can read up on here on body fat - https://www.isometric-training.com/Body_Fat_Percentage.html and how to measure it.

Stephen's suggestions on diet are a good start though I would be more protein as opposed to fat orientated and have a detailed nutrition program available called Fuelling the Dragon if that's an interest to you.

All the best and read over the weight loss section of this site for more great free info on how to get those abs popping.

Visible abdominal musculature NEW
by: Stephen Hopper

Dear Sean,

:~)

Happy New Year.

Sean, your isometrics will give you that six-pack you desire.

To have them visible, you'll need to reduce body fat. You'll need to shoot for 10% body fat or lower. Not too much lower. Cutting body fat too low has it's own attendant risks.

Diet will play a major role in this. Bear in mind, I'm not a licensed dietician. I can only say what I would do. I personally favour a higher-fat diet, fat is the superior "fuel".

Here are some general guidelines on macronutrient ratios. This will get you in the ballpark. Tweak to suit your own needs.

Fats 50% to 70%
Proteins 10% to 20%
Carbohydrates 30% to 40%

This is probably more information than you wanted. I hope it helps.

Kind regards,

Steve
