A rare story of successful weight loss

A Weight Loss Story – nearly everyone I know has one, and when I hear it, it nearly always ends in failure. You’ve probably heard a similar story – or worse yet have one of your own. The weight loss story most often goes like this –

“I tried (insert silly fad diet here…eg. Atkins, Low Fat etc) and I really lost a load of weight. Well in the beginning, but the diet was just too hard. My whole life was built on it. I wasn’t having fun I felt miserable, I kept getting headaches, I was constipated, then I had diarrhea! I just couldn’t keep it up and NOW I’M EVEN FATTER than I was when I started.”

If any of that sounds familiar I sympathize with you, and perhaps it may reassure you to know that nearly all of us – including me have been in the same boat.

Now I’d like to tell you a weight loss story with a difference – one where at the end the weight just wasn’t gone, but muscle mass was increased and the person involved had more energy, was stronger, sleeker, sexier than ever before. Every muscle was defined and strong. This story ends in very big smile and very low body fat levels.

This happens to be my weight loss story. Now I know what you are going to say – “Paul you don’t count. You’re a top fitness instructor, you don’t have a pick on you and besides which you probably have those blasted genetics that made sure you were always in good shape”.

Well you’d be wrong. Every member of my family on my father’s size is obese. Yep I come from a family of grossly overweight people, and when I was younger I was “skinny fat”. By this I mean I was weak and small, with tiny arms and legs, but I still had a little pot belly.

One of the many reasons I became a martial artist and fitness instructor was to lose my excess weight, stop looking like Eric Cartman and get in shape. And I did very well…I got away with exercising and eating okay, and got in shape. But I never had the tight shredded six pack or super strong muscles I have know until I discovered the unparalleled power of proper eating.

When you get your diet right – everything takes off. Your body fat melts, your sculpted toned muscles are revealed in all their glory. In my time as a fitness instructor I have tried every major diet there is Atkins, South Beach, Low Gi - , some I liked, some I didn’t. Some got results others set me back. BUT only ONE system ever allowed me to skyrocket my strength and slim down to really show off my physique.

That program was Burn The Fat, Feed the Muscle by Tom Venuto, by far the foremost authority on transformative eating. I started reading Tom’s articles, many of which I now feature on this site, and then I started recommending them to my friends and clients.

Tom’s work is grounded in great common sense with cutting edge scientific principals that produce incredible results. I noticed this from his articles and the small steps I integrated into my own programs – so then I just went for it and order his whole system which you can get it here. Man was I impressed. 300 easy to read pages, detailing everything anyone, including a professional sports nutritionist like me could ever need to know.

It’s not rocket science either. Tom has a great way of explaining these things. Using Tom’s program I dropped down to 6% body fat and FINALLY achieved the abs I’d always wanted. Not just that, but I increased my lean muscle mass and energy levels.

Combined with the excellent introduction Tom Ventuo’s articles give, his program Burn The Fat, Feed the Muscle I have been able to enjoy sumptuous feasts satisfying my every whim and desire while still maintaining low body fat and muscular defined physique.

It’s not just me either. Every client I have trained using the BFFM system has attained their goals in record time.
