The Bruce Lee Workout Routine is perhaps one of the most sought after fitness programs on the planet. Men and women marvelled at Bruce Lee's legendary physique. His muscular definition and low body fat made him the envy of the fitness and body-building community. This awe and reverence for the physique of the Dragon still is maintained today. I include myself in that number.
In fact, for me the Bruce Lee physique represents the pinnacle of functional fitness, lean efficient, fast and strong. As a personal trainer, fitness instructor and martial artist the Bruce Lee body represents the best elements of both body sculpting and real world strength. As such I spent years researching the elusive Bruce Lee training methods.
Why elusive? Simple because there is no one true Bruce Lee Workout Routine. As I've discussed in my other articles (Check 'em Out Here) Bruce Lee was a pioneer in the fitness industry. Rather than simply accept the recommendations of the local gym heavy or personal trainer - Bruce subjected every fitness protocol he found to rigorous study and evaluation. If the routine or technique didn't produce the goods then it got dumped and he moved on to the next. At the same time, if a technique did produce consistent results it got maintained.
As such at different times the Bruce Lee Workout Routine was different things. Sometimes it involved light weight and high reps, sometimes it involved heavy weights and low reps. Some exercises were performed in a power lifting motion, others in a body building style. Sometimes he just did pure body weight work at others focused solely on cardio. However - ONE thing remained consistent regardless of what he was trying out....
Bruce Lee was a HUGE isometric training enthusiast. Why? Because they produced results. Consistently. And so they became the core of the his routine. They also became the bedrock of my own fitness training - and ultimately led to the development of this website.
Over the years I have aspired to have the fitness and physique of Bruce Lee and based on my findings have developed the most comprehensive strength building and fitness building program available.
